  • Some Guests may charge additional fees for autographs and photo ops. Guest appearances subject to change. All events have limited seating capacities and are offered on a first come, first served basis. These prices range from $20 to $40.
  • Ghost Tours of Galveston reserves the right to change, modify, add, or remove any of the forgoing terms and conditions related to Dash Beardsley’s Wake the Dead Horror Paracon at any time and without notice.
  • Cosplay and Halloween Costumes are encouraged – no inappropriate costumes (i.e. nudity or adult themes) are allowed. This is a family-oriented event during convention hours from 11 am to 6 pm.

Do I have to purchase my tickets in advance?
Advance purchases of general admission and psychic gallery tickets are encouraged but not required. Purchases can be made at the door with major credit card or cash; however, there is limited seating during the lectures, psychic gallery, and Q&A sessions. Please note that not all vendors or celebrity talent accept credit cards. Though there are ATMs available at the Galveston Convention Center, it is best to come prepared.
 
Are children allowed to attend the event?
Yes, children of all ages are welcome! Children ages 12 and under can attend for free. All children must be accompanied by an adult of at least 18 years of age. 
 
What if it’s raining?
This event takes place inside the Galveston Convention Center so will not be cancelled due to weather conditions.
 
Is food available?
Food is available for purchase from the Galveston Convention Center. No outside food and drinks are allowed; major credit cards and cash are accepted.
 
Can I record video at the show?
Yes, absolutely! You are allowed to take photos and video at the show!
 
Can I wear a costume?

Can I go in a wheelchair?
Absolutely. The Galveston Convention Center is wheelchair and motorized vehicle friendly.

Yes, there are restrooms available at the convention center.

What is the difference between a VIP and GA ticket?
A VIP ticket includes: Friday Night Activities: multi-course dinner with opening toast given by Dash; Wake the Dead Creep Crawl (pub crawl) with Dash Beardsley along the Strand District; Dakota Lawrence Special VIP Gallery; 11×14 autographed keepsake, priority access, reserved seating, free Saturday night after party pass and Early Bird Admission to the event.
 
If I purchase a VIP ticket, will there be vegetarian and vegan options at dinner?
Yes! There will be vegetarian and vegan options at the VIP dinner on Friday night. We must know ahead of time if any accommodations need to be made. Please leave a message when purchasing tickets if you would like a vegetarian or vegan option.

What is included in my General Admission ticket?
Your ticket gives you access to the event Saturday and Sunday: this includes vendor area, celebrity access, and speaker sessions!
 
Can I sign up to be a vendor at this show?
Yes! You can purchase vendor tables by clicking “Buy tickets” above. This includes a 4×6 draped table, two chairs, two vendor passes, electrical power access. The vendor ticket includes 2 admission tickets. However, if you are purchasing a vendor ticket and would like to bring more than 2 people to represent your table, you can purchase an extra vendor ticket for $25 per extra person. Set up starts at 7 a.m. Saturday and we ask vendors to be done setting up by 10 a.m. You can purchase vendor tables by clicking on the Tickets tab above
