Kathy NajimyHocus Pocus, Sister Act I & II
Kathy Najimy is known for her memorable performances in over 25 films and several TV projects. She has starred in the famous Halloween flick, “Hocus Pocus” along with Bette Midler and Sarah Jessica Parker as well as won an American Comedy Award for Funniest Supporting Actress and the Hollywood Women’s Press Club (Female discovery of the Year) for her portrayal of Sister Mary Patrick in the blockbuster hits Sister Act I and II. Kathy can be seen in her current role on ABC’s hit show Make It or Break. She also portrayed the voice of Peggy Hill (14 seasons) on the Emmy Award-winning FOX hit King of the Hill, for which she received multiple awards. Her most recent film performance is The Guilt Trip starring Barbara Streisand. Kathy has gained critical acclaim portraying Mae West on Broadway in addition to writing and starring in the Kathy and Mo Show on stage (evolving into two hit HBO specials).
Honored as Ms. Magazine Woman of the Year, Kathy Najimy is an enthusiastic supporter and activist for AIDS Awareness, GLAAD, Animal Rights, as well as multiple worthy organizations. She has traveled around the country as a keynote speaker and has been honored with numerous awards because of her efforts including PETA’s Humanitarian of the Year Award presented by Sir Paul McCartney.
